Classic cars
The group meets on the fourth Wednesday afternoon of each month at 3 till 5pm at Paddock Wood Community Centre. This new group has attracted past, current and aspirant owners of classic cars including those of us who have been driving long enough to have driven cars in 'our younger years' which are now considered classics and like reminiscing about our experiences with them. Meetings will include a brief talk or film presentation on a classic car related topic, such as how to locate and purchase a classic car, restoration projects, the history of different marques, and rallies and tours in the UK and Europe. During summer months we are looking to arrange outings, some purely social drives out, and others to sites with classic car connections. The group is looking to be a fun social gathering with people interested in 'old cars', rather than technically focused. Although a corner can always be found for those wanting to talk nuts and bolts.
